Brief
We were asked to design the brand concept, identity, and naming for a new café and bar located in Medellín - Colombia. Right in the basement of @the.somos.
Solution
Today, there is a growing market of tourism in Medellín, thanks to its perfect weather, friendly people and nature.
Name and brand concept:
The city ́s tropical weather is home of the Mosquito and either you like it or not, this little fellow is in love with us humans, spreading their love from sunrise to sunset.
Aesthetic approach:
In our attempt to create a recognizable brand that can stand out from other spots lacking local identity, we developed a sophisticated lettering which matched very well with the “MOSQUITO” name and mix it with a colorful palette showcasing the tropical warmth and freshness.
